Cable modem subs like their high-speed service more than DSL subs. That’s the conclusion we drew from the research ComScore conducted for CTAM. The results: 79% of cable-modem subs said their service was good or very good; only 75% of DSL subs said the same. — DVRs are changing the way ad buyers are looking at the business. That’s the main thread of a poll of 75 ad execs by the American Advertising Federation. The results: 80% said DVRs will have a significant impact on 30-second spots. (One reason, perhaps, why we’re seeing 15-sec VOD spots on some systems.)
