Schmidt just took on leadership of the entire software engineering organization, as well as the design and user experience. Now about a quarter of the entire company rests on her capable shoulders. This past year her team added TiVo Stream and TiVo Mini to the product suite. An enthusiastic advocate of user-centered design, Schmidt knows her products are a gateway to cable customers. And with that in mind, she works diligently to understand cable operators’ needs while satisfying the end user experience.
