Macrovision Solutions announced today the availability of multi-room DVR capabilities for its Passport Echo 3.5 and i-Guide A28 interactive program guides (IPGs). With planned availability on Motorola’s standardized MoCA-enabled set-top boxes, Macrovision’s multi-room DVR solutions are intended to allow DVR-recorded content to be played throughout the home network.

Passport and iGuide Multi-Room DVR features will include:

. Start and stop a show in one room and resume play in another

. View of list of my recordings from multiple locations within the home

. Watch a recorded program at the same time as other family members watch the same show

. Trick mode with multiple speeds for fast-forward, rewind, pause, slow motion and instant replay

. Play up to three HD shows on the network while recording two HD shows
