With the sudden departure of MTV Nets’ ad chief Mark Rosenthal it’s unclear who will be heading ad sales at Viacom’s gay-lesbian net Logo; Matt Farber told TCA he’s running the network, with help from MTV and VH1Ent pres Brian Graden. Logo’s day 1 will be Feb 17, carriage will be 10-15mln HHs at launch and the 1st program will be the doc "The Road to Logo." Logo’s made deals with "every major studio" for theatricals like "Kissing Jessica Stein" and "The Birdcage" and TV movies reflecting diverse gay/lesbian themes. 20 originals are in devo, including one from Cher andChastity Bono. At the outset, most of Logo’s programs will be acquisitions; the aim is to premiere an original every month. The mix will include animation, doc, comedy and music.
