Sherman just stepped down from her post last month, but she leaves behind a proud legacy. Following its best year ever in 2012, Logo has continued to evolve and expand its audience in recent months. Sherman was also key to locking in a script deal with Cher and attracting talent to the tentpole event “Logo NewNowNext Awards 2013.” “When you foster an environment of inclusion that allows employees to bring their whole selves to work each day, it’s hard not to be successful,” she says. We look forward to hearing about Sherman’s next adventure.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love being part of the creative process, making and promoting TV shows. I thrive in an environment with out-of-the-box thinkers.
What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?
The emergence of new, original content providers like Amazon, Yahoo and Netflix along with the rise in on-demand, binge viewing was definitely the hot story of the year.
How do you define success in the workplace?
When you foster an environment of inclusion that allows employees to bring their whole selves to work each day, it’s hard not to be successful.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Let me know when you figure it out!
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?
That’s easy. I want to fill John Madden’s shoes and provide color commentary for a Sunday NFL game!
