LightSquared today announced an agreement with its 13th partner: Advanta Technologies, a Texas-based provider of voice, video and data solutions for enterprise customers. The two inked a multi-year wholesale agreement to expand Advanta’s product portfolio to include wireless broadband devices, applications and services that will run on LightSquared’s nationwide 4G-LTE network.

As a wholesale-only operator, LightSquared plans to deploy an open 4G wireless broadband network to be used by existing and new service providers to sell their own devices, applications and services. LightSquared continues to add partners even though the viability of its network is in question. (For more, see LightSquared’s Heavy Regulatory, Technical Burdens. Will It Fly?).
