Liberty Global Inc.: Tom Mockridge, CEO at News International, will become CEO at Virgin Media Inc. as soon as the acquisition closes this summer. He will succeed the retiring Neil Berkett. Mockridge will report to Mike Fries as well as to a newly formed operating committee made up of Fries; Diederik Karsten, executive vice president/European Broadband Operations; and Balan Nair, executive vice president/CTO.
 
Boingo Wireless: Nick Hulse has been appointed president, reporting to CEO Dave Hagan. Hulse will oversee the sales, marketing, product and business-development teams. He comes to the Wi-Fi provider from the Rubicon Project, where he was chief revenue officer. Hulse also held senior executive roles with iPass and Microsoft.
