Level 3 Communications announced at the 2009 Streaming Media West Show that it has now integrated the latest Adobe Flash Media Server software into a single Content Delivery Network (CDN) platform. Level 3 has deployed Flash Media Server 3.5 software by merging the Adobe technology with its own, proprietary HTTP delivery technology into a single multi-protocol platform. This solution positions Level 3 to accelerate and optimize the evolution to HTTP as the single ubiquitous standard for content delivery over the Internet.
