Regional SVP – Freedom Region Comcast
Talbot can be most proud over the last year of Comcast’s response to Hurricane Sandy, which last fall affected 24 states, doing great damage in New Jersey and in New York. “The big headline for me was the tremendous recovery and response led by our employees, all of whom embraced customers and brought a little relief during a very challenging time,” she says. “Our employees have always invested in giving back to communities where we live and serve.” She also helped spearhead participation by Comcast employees, friends and volunteers in the company’s community outreach initiative Comcast Cares Days in April.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy leading a remarkable, capable team that astonishes me with their commitment to delivering excellence on a daily basis.
What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?
The big headline for me was the tremendous recovery and response led by our employees following Hurricane Sandy, all of whom embraced customers and brought a little relief during a very challenging time.
How do you define success in the workplace?
Delighting our customers is clearly the goal. Success is inspiring every customer to share the same belief in Comcast that I have.
