Motorola has announced that Korean cable operators C&M and CJ CableNet have selected Motorola Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) and Cable Modem for delivery of 100Mbps high-speed broadband services to their subscribers. Both operators will deploy the Motorola BSR 64000 CMTS platform and Motorola SURFboard cable modems with channel-bonding technology. The Motorola agreements with C&M and CJ CableNet extend their current DOCSIS 2.0 deployments and DOCSIS 3.0 trials into a commercially deployed DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS and cable modem solution supporting DOCSIS 3.0 channel bonding.  Deployments are expected to occur prior to the end of 2007.
