Knology Internet service in the Black Hills is now faster than ever due to a free upgrade to the DOCSIS 3.0 platform. Knology Internet customers will be able to experience increased bandwidth speeds of up to 50 Mbps on the downstream and up to 5 Mbps upstream for business customers and 25 Mbps downstream and 5 Mbps upstream for residential customers.

The Black Hills market is the first of Knology’s South Dakota markets to get this new technology.

The DOCSIS 3.0 upgrade is complete for all Knology customers in Rapid City, Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Sturgis, Deadwood, Lead, St. Onge, Whitewood, Piedmont, Summerset and Black Hawk.
