Bright House Networks named Kimberly Maki vice president, corporate communications.

Maki is responsible for directing Bright House Networks’ strategic communications at all levels of the organization, and leading a team of communications professionals throughout the company’s six divisions. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing internal and external communications for all products and services, including new product development; structuring corporate-wide strategy; growing community relations programs; and leading key marketing communications efforts.

Previously Maki was executive director of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). Before that, she was vice president, marketing, membership and business development for the SCTE. She had earlier worked at Time Warner Cable’s Houston division.

At Bright House, Maki reports to Kevin Hyman, executive vice president of cable operations.
