Kabel Deutschland GmbH, Germany’s largest triple-play provider, has deployed Acme Packet’s Net-Net session border controllers (SBCs) on multiple hardware platforms. The SBCs are used to deliver IP interactive communications to KDG’s residential customers and secure IP interconnects to other service providers.

Acme Packet’s Net-Net SBCs are deployed to provide additional security, service reach maximization and SLA assurance for KDG’s recently implemented Kabel Phone service.
