Kabel Baden-Württemberg, a German cable TV operator, has rolled out on-demand TV services based on video back office software and systems integration from SeaChange eventIS, a subsidiary of SeaChange International. Dubbed “Videothek,” the comprehensive on-demand service is now live to 2.3 million Kabel BW subscribers across Southwestern Germany, offering hundreds of films and series with complete on-demand control.

Deployed SeaChange products include the SeaChange eventIS back-office. As systems integrator on the Kabel BW VOD service, SeaChange eventIS was responsible for system testing, launch support and integration with set-tops, applications, middleware and network components from third-party suppliers.
