Comcast will begin SVOD carriage of Shalom TV in the MSO’s home city of Philly late this summer, CableWorld reports today. The MSO will make Shalom available more widely in early October. The channel also will launch on Blue Ridge Comm (180K HHs in NE PA) this summer, also on SVOD. Shalom sealed its deal with Blue Ridge 2 summers ago, but hadn’t been carried. Agreements with the operators are for linear network carriage, but both elected to let Shalom begin life on SVOD.
