VP/Deputy General Counsel, Comcast Cable

Smith heads the practice group counseling some of Comcast’s largest key business areas. Advertising and marketing, purchasing and procurement, general operations and facilities all are guided under his steady hand. What most excites him in the cable world is his company’s continued innovation. “This year, with Xfinity X1 platform, increasing in-home WiFi speeds and the ability for customers to use these platforms to get increasing levels of entertainment across various devices,” says Smith. Prior to joining Comcast, Smith served as a law associate and attended Harvard Law School.
