Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM) has selected Motorola’s channel bonding technology to deploy the company’s first DOCSIS 3.0-based CMTS and cable modem capable of delivering up to 160 Mbps throughput to residential and commercial ultra-broadband service customers. J:COM will be using Motorola’s BSR 64000 CMTS/Edge Router and SURFboard SB6120 cable modems.
