FTTx provider Zhone Technologies Inc. says it will assist with iTV-3’s new network expansion in Central Illinois, building off of two previous network expansions that used Zhone equipment.  Zhone’s MXK, GPON and ZNID products will be used to enable the operator’s buildout of its high-speed Internet and triple-play services to an additional 10,000 subscribers. iTV-3 is constructing a 100-percent fiber-optic network in East Peoria, managed by Zhone’s MXK; this follows two recent network expansions to Morton and Pekin.
