itaas is opening a new office in Ontario, Canada and expanding both its U.S. headquarters and offices in India.

“Our core team of experienced engineers at itaas’ Canada offices will initially focus on providing support services for both U.S. and Canadian customers for the deployment of iTV solutions which include technologies such as EBIF, tru2way and IP,” said Jaspal Bhasin, itaas’ chief operating officer, in a statement.

itaas has also expanded its headquarters offices in Metro-Atlanta. The additional space will accommodate an expansion of the lab and testing facilities, the growing number of itaas employees, as well as customer-focused work areas.

In India, itaas has outgrown its recently expanded offices and has added space to accommodate growing resources and expanded lab and testing facilities. This will be the third expansion of these facilities in the past three years.

itaas supports the development and deployment of interactive applications and services through the istart developer program. This program offers SDKs and support for Time Warner Cable’s MDN, ODN and MAS software, Cisco’s SARA/PowerTV and OCAP Axiom, FourthWall Media’s EBIF user agent and the TVWorks ETV platform. itaas also recently announced the ability to make enhancements to the SARA guide platform and to test DTA devices in anticipation of deployment.
