itaas is launching its switched digital video Client Simulator (SDV-CS), a pre-deployment SDV tool that simulates millions of set-top box SDV requests to verify wide-scale deployments. SDV-CS, already in lab trials with a major MSO, is designed to allow cable operators to road-test SDV services in order to confidently release and scale the technology. The product will be featured in at NCTA’s The Cable Show, May 18-20 in New Orleans.
