Israel’s Alvarion says its BreezeMAX Extreme and 4Motion products have been selected by Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley Inter-Networking Consortium (CINC) to power the community’s wide area network (WAN). The CINC network serves public safety, EMS and healthcare while expanding educational opportunities and promoting economic development; the territory covers Eau Claire, Chippewa, Dunn Clark, Buffalo, Barron and Jackson counties. CINC is using Alvarion’s BreezeMAX Extreme in the 3.65 GHz band; and the 4Motion ecosystem in the 2.5 GHz frequency, including macro and micro base stations, antennas, and outdoor and in-vehicle radios.
