The FCC’s second study on broadband performance, released late yesterday, says most ISPs (96 percent) are delivering broadband speeds as advertised. On average, during peak periods, cable delivered sustained download speeds that were 99-percent of advertised speeds, while DSL was at 84 percent and FTTH was at 117 percent. All percentages improve from last year’s survey. The commish afforded Cablevision special kudos for its year-over-year improvement.
