Infinera will discuss the benefits of the Digital Optical Networks architecture for cable operators in a presentation at The Cable Show. Infinera’s presence at The Cable Show will also include a display at Booth 3735 in the CableNET ’08 technology showcase, where Infinera representatives will be available to meet customers, press, and analysts, and explain the benefits of Infinera’s architecture, which is based on Infinera’s large-scale photonic integrated circuits (PICs). An Infinera DTN digital ROADM will be on display at the booth. Optimized for long-haul and metro core networks, the Infinera DTN combines high-capacity DWDM transport, integrated digital switching and bandwidth management, and GMPLS-powered service and network intelligence in a single platform.
