Infinera has appointed Dirk Corsus as vice president of systems engineering. Corsus brings more than 20 years of global experience in engineering and product development, with particular expertise in optical networking and telecommunications switching environments.

Corsus spent 23 years with Alcatel and Alcatel Lucent managing global engineering teams, and has been involved with product launches including optical, routing, and access products.
