The MSO alerted area subs yesterday with an email "wake-up call" touting the service, which will offer unlimited calling across the country for as little as $39.95/month. Qualified customers can sign up at http://www.twcinci.com, and Time Warner will notify those on its list when the service is available. — As ESPN dedicated its Digital Center yesterday it announced plans to break ground on its largest building, a 4-story, 125K sq-ft office building on its Bristol campus set to open in spring ’06.

Disney Acquires MLB’s BAMTech Stake

MLB sold its 15% share of BAMTech, the streaming service technology company that powers Disney+, ESPN and Hulu, to Disney. According to the Mouse House’s 10-K filing with the SEC, the company paid $900 million to buy out MLB’s remaining interest.
