Time Warner Cable eliminated its product division in OH and laid off 30 employees as a result of the merger of its Dayton and Cincinnati divisions, the Dayton Business Journal reports. — HGTV HD launched yesterday with carriage deals in place with DISH Network; Wide Open West (Chicago, Detroit, Columbus and Cleveland); Buckeye (Toledo, OH); Sunflower Broadband and Everest Connections in Kansas City. — Sprint Nextel said the number of VoIP subs it serves for cable has topped 1mln.
