ESPN and HBO tied for tops in cable at the Sports Emmys, with each net taking 6 statuettes (1 of Bristol’s went to ESPN2). HBO’s collection included a pair for "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," plus a shared honor with NBC for studio host Bob Costas. "SportsCenter" earned 2 for ESPN, and awards also went to Joe Morgan (baseball) and Dick Enberg (Wimbledon). NFL Net and TNT received 1 Emmy each. — HBO led all nets with 3 wins at the 11th NAMIC Vision Awards, including a pair of wins for "Something the Lord Made." Comedy Central was the only other net to take multiple honors, earning 2 trophies for "Chappelle’s Show." Other winners include: Nick at Nite, Disney Channel, CNN, BET and Fox Sports Espanol. GLAAD Media Awards, including HBO’s "Six Feet Under" (best drama), Showtime’s "Jack," (best TV movie) and Bravo’s "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" & MTV’s "Real World: Philadelphia" (splitting the best reality nod).
