Ziv award for achievement in telecommunications, presented by the University of Cincinnati College’s electronic media division, May 10, Covington, KY. — NAMIC spread the wealth with its ’06 Vision Awards Tues night, giving 11 nets trophies in various categories. Comedy Central won a pair of comedy awards for "Mind of Mencia" and "Weekends at The D.L.", while HBO’s "Lackawanna Blues" won the best drama honor. Steve Harvey was cited for his BET Comedy Awards special hosting, and Irene Bedard won for her "Into The West" miniseries performance on TNT. Also recognized: Disney, History, Fine Living, AZN, ESPN, CSTV and Zee TV.
