CTPAA picked a worthy trio for its ’05 President’s Awards: Bresnan chmn/CEO Bill Bresnan, Crown COO Paul FitzPatrick and CTAM’s Char Beales. — 4 cable series will receive Genesis Awards next month for episodes on animal issues. The winners: "Huff" (Showtime), "Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel (HBO), "That’s So Raven" (Disney Channel) and "Animal Cops: Houston" (Animal Planet). Animal Planet will pick up a second Genesis for its "Papa Bear" doc special. Humane Society of the US presents the awards. Animal Planet carries the event May 14. — Simon Applebaum
