For the 2nd year, Comcast’s Brian Roberts ranked as the #1 cable/satellite CEO in Institutional Investor’s "Best CEOs in America." Cox’s Jim Robbins was 2 (up from 3 last year), while EchoStar’s Charlie Ergen fell 1 spot to 3. Time Warner’s Dick Parsons nabbed the top spot among entertainment company CEOs, followed by Viacom’s Sumner Redstone. Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer topped software, Cisco’s John Chambers led data networking & wireline gear and Verizon’s Ivan Seidenberg was #1 in the telco space.
