Holland Electronics is the newest member of MoCA, and its executives will contribute their engineering and manufacturing knowledge to the creation of new MoCA-certified products to simplify in-home entertainment networking.

MoCA is a worldwide standard for home entertainment networking, with the group claiming it’s the only such standard in deployment by all three pay-TV segments: cable, satellite and telco/IPTV. MoCA technology also can be used to extend Wi-Fi and HomePlug connectivity in the home.

Holland Electronics has a long history of product development specifically for coaxial transmission, making it a "logical choice for further involvement with MoCA," the company adds. Holland has released a variety of new MoCA-related products during the last year, many of which have been deployed by major MSVPs.
