The Comcast Media Center’s HITS Advanced Interactive Services (“AxIS”), a centralized suite of advanced video services to support the delivery of iTV applications using the ETV/EBIF and tru2way platforms, is ready to support the commercial deployment of iTV services by cable system operators. The readiness for commercial launches follows months of testing by several cable MSOs, including Bend Broadband, Buckeye CableSystem, Metrocast Communications and Sunflower Broadband.
