Bishara comes to Synacor from HBO Broadband/Digital Group where, as senior vice president, he was responsible for the overall strategy, development and rollout of broadband products, including HBO GO. ??Notes Ron Frankel, Synacor’s CEO, "With more than 30 million households expected to use TV Everywhere by 2016, Michael’s expertise will ensure Synacor’s customers have all the content, apps and services they need to deliver breakthrough user experiences and to become increasingly valuable to their subscribers."??

Other industry personnel changes: Comcast has promoted Tracy Pitcher to senior vice president/Small- and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) Operations at Comcast Business Services; Rebecca Scilingo to senior vice president/Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) for Comcast Cable; and Amy Stipandic to senior vice president/Strategic Process, Design and Delivery at Comcast Cable.

Pitcher oversees the strategic direction and organizational effectiveness of service delivery, technical operations and care for all of the company’s SMB customers. Under Scilingo’s leadership, Comcast’s EPMO team works with teams across the operator from initial concept to product development, testing and full-market rollout. And Comcast say Stipandic pioneered the use of a business-process design approach that’s now an integral part of its technology development and ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience; she recently assumed responsibility for designing Comcast’s joint service experience with Verizon Wireless.
