Harris Corp. will introduce its OSi-CableNet, a traffic and billing system for cable networks, at The Cable Show in booth 3307. The Windows-based system is designed to allow cable networks to fully integrate their sales and traffic operations and provide automated real-time tools to streamline operations and optimize revenue yield.

The feature set for cable networks includes tools for spot serialization, management of secondary events and interactive reporting options that provide real-time information related to new deal entries, changes to existing deals, and billing spot status. The system is also designed for inventory reservations and the ability to deliver separate feeds based on time zones. It automatically allows for timeshifting, meaning an East Coast feed will naturally synchronize for West Coast playout.
