At Mobile World Congress 2009, Harmonic is featuring its content preparation and transcoding solutions for mobile video delivery to various networks and devices (broadcast, 3G/4G, Internet and sync-and-go). The company’s ProStream 4000 multi-screen transcoder, Rhozet and LIVEcut technologies are designed to enable operators to provision live, time-shifted and on-demand content on a mobile device. The systems are intended to leverage existing headend investments and help operators deliver the high performance required for successful mobile video services.
