NFL draft guru (and CableFAX fave) Mel Kiper is staying at ESPN after having hashed out a new, 3-yr contract. The helmet-tressed pigskin pundit worked out the pact with ESPN prog/prod chief Mark Shapiro yesterday in NY. Bristol "anticipate[s] having a signed agreement by Friday," Shapiro said.
