The programming generated record ratings—2.1 million in digital streams and 1.3 million tweets. He continues to cultivate Discovery’s social media strategy and award-winning team, building on Discovery’s leadership position in social innovation, engagement, and reach. “The biggest story in cable this year is the correlative and causal relationship between social and TV,” he says. “Viewers are defining their own prime time.”
