On CTAM’s Agenda: Growth! By Char Beales, President and CEO, CTAM One of the many speakers bound to impress at this week’s CTAM Summit is Shawn Gold, chief marketing officer of Myspace.com. As any teen will attest, the fast-growing Myspace does an astounding job of fostering connections and empowering expression among today’s youth. Making connections. Communicating. Growing. You know, this Gold guy might just be onto something. Because those principles also are the foundation of CTAM, which is working on a broader range of fronts than ever before to fulfill its mission of helping cable grow. The eve of the CTAM Summit is the perfect time for us to do some communicating of our own. Here’s a quick glance at a few of the initiatives CTAM has under way. As you’ve seen, much of what CTAM does revolves around collaboration with industry associations and partners that share a collective cable commitment. We believe working with smart people makes us that much more successful. And that’s what the CTAM Summit is all about, too. Have a terrific conference, and thank you for inviting CTAM to be an ongoing collaborator in your business growth.
