Grande Communications, a Texas-based television and broadband service provider, has chosen TiVo Premiere as the exclusive DVR promoted by Grande. As a result of the new relationship, TiVo Premiere DVRs and TiVo’s multi-room solution will become the foundation of Grande’s advanced television offering.

Scheduled to launch later this year, TiVo Premiere from Grande will bring together traditional TV, Internet-delivered video and interactive applications as well as Grande’s video on demand (VOD) offerings, in one user interface. The products offered by Grande will be based on TiVo’s family of whole home and multi-room products.

Ten-year-old Grande Communications is a Texas-based broadband communications company that offers a full suite of Internet, TV and phone services for residential and business customers through its hybrid fiber-optic network. Grande serves the following communities: Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Midland, Odessa, San Antonio, San Marcos and Waco.
