GoBackTV’s RetroVue system has been chosen by Portugal-based Visabeira Global to provide advanced video services, starting with its subsidiary TV Cabo Angola. TV Cabo Angola is a joint venture between Visabeira Global and Angola Telecom and is Angola’s only cable TV operator. It provides digital TV, HDTV, and broadband Internet services.

RetroVue components selected by Visabeira include the StreamCache for VOD and time-shifted TV; the GigaQAM IP for cable IPTV and switched multicast; the ASI-to-Gigabit Ethernet IP Streamer for demultiplexing and protocol conversion; and the RetroVue Application Server for MyRV Portal middleware, service management, and cable IPTV resource management.
