Global Wi-Fi and enterprise mobility services provider iPass Inc. is teaming with Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) through which the AsiaPac communications provider will offer Wi-Fi roaming services for enterprises in Singapore and across Asia. SingTel will provide iPass Open Mobile to enterprises to enable their customers to be connected to the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi hot spot network, with more than a million venues worldwide…CyC S.A., a subsidiary of the largest integrated electric company in Argentina, has selected the MRV Communications OptiSwitch Carrier Ethernet Access solution to assist in the launch of a futureproof Carrier Ethernet network. The network will be capable of supporting wholesale mobile backhaul and other revenue-generating data services.  CyC S.A. is using MRV’s products — OS904-MBH-4 timing and synchronization gateway with circuit emulation services (CES) and the OS9124-410G first mile packet-optical aggregation platform — to help ensure the functionality of the new mobile backhaul network.
