Malta’s Melita Group, which provides TV, Internet, fixed-line and mobile communications services, tapped Amdocs to deploy an end-to-end BSS consolidation project. The deal has Amdocs delivering Amdocs CES (customer experience systems) portfolio software and third-party software and hardware, replacing Melita’s legacy systems and consolidating service delivery, customer life-cycle management and billing across the operator’s multiple lines of business. As a result, Melita says it will be able to introduce quad-play service bundles and a single bill across services along with a range of customer self-service capabilities.
