To cope with data traffic growth and to expand its mobile coverage, Brazilian wireless provider Vivo picked Ericsson to supply and implement a 4G/LTE network in the North and Mid-Western regions of Brazil as well as the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Bahia and Sergipe. Ericsson will perform all network implementation, including network rollout, design and support services; gear includes RBS 6000 multistandard radio base stations.
