The project was funded by the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications, an implementing agency of the Ministry of Communications…Inteliquent, a provider of global interconnection/interoperability solutions, inked a strategic alliance with South Africa’s Vox Telecom to bolster Inteliquent’s coverage throughout Southern Africa and to provide Vox access to Inteliquent’s EtherCloud solution. Vox Telecom will be able to extend its Global Ethernet reach by leveraging on Inteliquent’s 130+ points of presence (PoP) worldwide, increasing the availability of Vox Telecom’s Layer 2 Ethernet services to locations currently off-net — particularly in Europe and North America.
