Ireland’s Openet is the newest company to partner with China’s Huawei in Huawei‘s mLAB, aimed at creating new mobile broadband business models for global operators. Openet says it will meld its Policy and Charging Control (PCC) solutions with Huawei’s wireless and EPC networks “to determine tomorrow’s most valuable MBB business models”…JT Global, based in the Channel Islands and formerly called Jersey Telecom, has brought in Swedish open-access-network-management specialist Netadmin Systems to help it implement fiber to the home (FTTH) to all 42,000 premises on Jersey within the next three years. Netadmin will automate service fulfillment and assurance processes while providing a user-friendly platform for JT and other service providers on and off the island to launch their services. Netadmin also is working with Cisco, Genexis and Dimension Data on this project.
