Fujitsu Computer Products of America, has launched a new aggregated series of 24-port and 48-port 1Gb/10Gb Ethernet switches. The introduction of the 24-port XG0224 and 48-port XG0448 expands the XG family of Ethernet switches, enabling the integration of existing Ethernet streams into high-speed 10Gb networks.

The XG0224 and XG0448 will feature auto sensing 10/100/1000 Base-T with 4 ports of SFP optics and open slots for 1 or 2 dual port 10GbE uplink cards, depending upon the model. The low-power, 1U high form factor allows for easy integration into existing networks and system chassis while also providing an upgrade path for customers.
