FourthWall Media has announced that the OneLink San Juan cable system in Puerto Rico has successfully deployed FourthWall’s Ad Widgets advanced advertising system across its digital subscriber base.

Based on EBIF, Ad Widgets allows advertisers to combine interactive functionality with their commercials. When a commercial runs, digital OneLink subscribers will see an on-screen prompt. With the push of a button on their standard cable remote, viewers can request more information, find out more about the product or service, and hit click-to-call for immediate merchant contact.

"The Ad Widgets Manager guides media sales personnel through simple forms where they input an order and select options that automatically bind proven applications to the appropriate commercials making them interactive," said Tim Peters, FourthWall Media CEO, in a statement.

FourthWall Media is expanding the set of available Ad Widgets templates to include Video On Demand (VOD) telescoping, which will allow OneLink to market its own VOD programming in a thirty-second spot.
