Former ESPN programming honcho Mark Shapiro raided his former employer again, hiring Mike Antinoro as evp, entertainment/marketing for Six Flags. Antinoro had been and exec producer of ESPN Original Entertainment through Nov ’05. Shapiro also hired Angelina Vieira, who counted ESPN as a client when she was with Wieden + Kennedy. Two weeks ago, Shapiro hired 15-year ESPN vet Mark Quenzel to be evp, park strategy and mgmt. — We couldn’t write about Shapiro without mentioning the latest rumor making the rounds about him: that he’s indirectly responsible for the NFL’s delay in awarding its 8-game Thurs/Sat night package. Word is that Shapiro convinced his boss, Redskins owner Dan Snyder, that NFL Net should get the package, and Snyder has been trying to convince the owners, most of who are leaning toward Comcast’s OLN.
