FiberPlex Technologies hired Cardone, Solomon & Associates to represent its fiber-optic product line to integrators and their clients in the New England/metro New York City and the surrounding territory. The companies say they are teaming to offer a better way for enterprises to provide high-risk data, video and audio content that can’t be handled by traditional copper cabling. According to FiberPlex, its technology “offers 10 times the transference rate of copper and isn’t susceptible to the signal leakage problems typical of copper cabling, which can result in security breaches and data corruption over longer distances.”
