Cox has been approved by the General Services Administration for a Local Services Acquisition (LSA) contract. As a result of this approval, military and government customers located in GSA’s Region 3 Mid-Atlantic service area will be able to purchase voice and data services from Cox systems throughout the state of Virginia.

The latest distinction allows Cox to support GSA local, state and federal government agencies with advanced communications solutions in the Greater Hampton Roads region, Roanoke and Northern Virginia.

Earlier this year, Cox was approved for a Schedule 70 program for high-speed Internet and advanced data services in the Hampton Roads region. Also, Cox is included in GSA schedules in nine states, including the GSA Local Service Agreement list in Arizona, California, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island and Virginia. Cox was recently awarded a place on the GSA Metropolitan Area Agreement (MAA) to provide service to federal government agencies in New Orleans.
